Tree and Stump Removal
Trees are the natural framework to any enduring landscape.
Tree Removal
Our goal at Shreiner Tree Care is to preserve and care for trees so they remain a lasting part of your landscape. Unfortunately, when a tree becomes severely weakened by decay, disease, or structural damage, tree removal becomes necessary to protect the safety of your home, your family, pets, and the spaces they use every day.
A tree assessment by a Shreiner certified arborist helps determine whether a tree can be preserved or if tree removal is the safest option. Our arborists are trained to recognize the signs of internal decay, structural weakness, and decline is not always visible to the untrained eye. When tree removal is required, our arborists carefully plan the process to safely remove the tree while protecting your home, landscape, and surrounding property.
A tree’s size, location, and surrounding structures must all be considered when determining the safest removal method. Shreiner Tree Care approaches every tree removal project with a strong commitment to safety, care, and respect for your property.

Stump Removal
The importance of stump removal is the final aspect of removing a tree. Stump removal is a considerable part of any tree removal or property restoration. Our process is to not only grind out the core of the stump but the surface root system as well.
The area that is ground out is usually to depth of approximately 2’ and 5 times the diameter of the stump. Grinding out a wider area ensures thoroughness of quality and a happy client.
We pride ourselves on the thoroughness to which we remove the stumps and supporting surface roots.
Stump grinding areas can be restored to lawn or left in their natural state with excess grindings removed, leveling the area over.
