Steve Shreiner started cutting grass in his neighborhood in Rosemont after pulling this Hahn Eclipse mower from the trash – Cleaned the carb, changed the oil, gas and spark plug and never looked back.

Cranes were becoming popular for tree removals. No tree company had their own crane in those days.

After 10 years at the Slack property and then a short stay in Wayne off of Radnor St, we landed at a spot in Bridgeport which we were grateful to find. Convenient, commercial ground is difficult to find along the Main Line.

The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is America’s oldest and most respected tree care trade association and its accreditation program involves validating that a company “perform(s) arboriculture services as a whole, in a manner that follows all regulatory requirements across the board.”
All work is performed in accordance with ANSI A300 and Z133, the standards of arboricultural practices and safety operations.

Kyle Hawk is celebrating 20 years with Shreiner Tree Care, performing amazing artistic arboriculture for our clients. His service, care, and unique approach have greatly benefited many coworkers through the years. Kyle’s interest in nature, birds, and, in particular, hawks were fascinating. He is also an accomplished photographer, artist, and natural woodworker. Retiring from STC at the end of this year, he will be missed; however, we wish him our best as his journey continues.

Rich Taylor retires after 24 years! Rich is one of the most talented log truck drivers in our area. He can load and unload logs weighing as much as four tons effortlessly and without damage. Whether you saw him driving by on the street or getting his truck ready in the morning, he always had a big smile on his face and was always ready to offer a funny story or joke. We are grateful to have had him as a part of the team. He will be a member of the Shreiner family forever. We wish you a wonderful and relaxing retirement, you’ve earned it!
This year, we celebrated the 40th anniversary of STC. We started the day with safety training and ended it with good food and ice cream. Thank you to all our wonderful customers for the years of continued loyalty and support. Without you, none of this would be possible. We would also like to thank our employees for the hard work and dedication they provide to our customers each day. It’s a privilege to work with and for such amazing people!
